ABOUT THIS COFFEE.
The Aquiares Estate in Costa Rica is the largest contiguous farm in the country, spanning 924 hectares. Owned by the Robelo family, 20% of the estate is dedicated to forest conservation, with coffee fields intersected by natural springs and nearly 20 kilometers of river channels protected by buffer zones, creating a natural network for local flora and fauna. The farm is certified as "Carbon Neutral," saving up to 3,720 tons of CO2 annually, and their single-origin coffee undergoes a meticulous fermentation process in special tanks before being dried in the sun and on African drying beds for optimal flavor development.
